Robert Brenham Thomas

Thomas was born in Kentucky and graduated from West Point in 1852. He served in the artillery from 1852-56 and was on General Mercer's staff in December 1861. Thomas became major and AIG to General Finegan on Feb. 17, 1862. At some point he took command of the 9th Florida though details are sketchy.
