Order of Battle
These Order of Battles were taken directly from one of two sources -- the Official Records or the Southern Historical Society Papers. They are organized by battle or campaign and only cover A.P. Hill's respective command in the action. An order of battle is a listing of units and their commanders. These order of battles go down to the regimental level. The "cite" (i.e. where I copied it from) is left on these. They are long because they are in tact order of battles.

The A.P. Hill Orders of Battle:

  • Seven Days - The make up of the Light Division during the Seven Days battles.

  • 2d Manassas - The Light Division's make up during the Campaign of Second Manassas.

  • Sharpsburg - The Light Division during the Maryland Campaign and the battle of Sharpsburg.

  • Fredericksburg - The Light Division during the battle of Fredericksburg.

  • Gettysburg - Third Corps at Gettysburg. The original corps make up.

  • Wilderness Campaign - Third Corps in the 1864 Overland Campaign.
  • Appomattox Campaign - The final make up of A.P. Hill's Third Corps.
