Matthew Robert Hall

Hall was born in Warren County, Georgia on March 15, 1836. He graduated from NYU in 1857. He became captain of B company of the 48th Georgia in March 1862, eventually rising to the rank of colonel on November 12, 1864.

Hall was wounded at the Wilderness and was on detail in Danville at the end of the War. After the war, he was a doctor in Warrenton, Georgia. He also served in the state legislature. Hall died some time after 1899.
