Taliaferro Sidney Evans

Evans was born in the Abbeville District of South Carolina in January 1827. He was a lawyer prior to the outbreak of the War.

Evans became the major of the 11th Mississippi on April 26, 1862. Wounded at Gaines Mill, he was killed on September 17, 1862 at Sharpsburg.
